With Susan Leviton on the theme of "Gilgulim - Transmigrations"
Shabbat afternoon, February 11
Susan will explore the history of a people on the move and perform songs of places left behind on Jewish journeys which include America, Eretz Yisrael and other 'golden lands'!
A self-described “Jewish Cultural Worker,” Susan Leviton has spent more than 20 years promoting and sharing Jewish culture through its visual and musical arts. She is known for her joyful embrace of Yiddish arts. An interpreter of Jewish songs, Leviton is also a calligrapher and papercut artist. She uncovers historic forms and brings them into the light of the 21st Century.
$16 per person for lunch (the lecture is free and open to all)

Saturday Night Concert from the Adult Ed Committee
With Susan Leviton & Dr. Adrian Banner
Saturday evening, February 11
Susan Leviton will be joined in concert by composer and musician Dr. Adrian Banner. Together they will present a wide range of Jewish and Yiddish songs, including delicate solos and rollicking Klezmer pieces. Susan has produced several solo and collaborative recordings and Adrian performs with the Princeton-based band, The Klez Dispensers.
$8 per person with online signup below ($10 at the door)
