Alex Sinclair will discuss his book, Perfect Enemy. Perfect Enemy is an exciting, suspenseful thriller set in contemporary Israel that poses uncomfortable questions about trauma and revenge, the desire for peace, religious extremism, and the schisms of the Middle East. It's a page-turner, but also illuminates aspects of Israeli society and the Israeli psyche with texture and depth. He will talk about how he came to write the book, why he’s choosing to soft-launch it in the Diaspora but hold it back for now in Israel, and more generally what’s going on in Israel, and how it feels to live there now.
